This policy applies to purchases made through CUKUMBA’s website, including original artworks (unique works), framed items (when offered), editions/printed works (if offered), and digital editions (if offered).

Esta política aplica a compras realizadas a través de la web de CUKUMBA, incluyendo obras originales (piezas únicas), artículos enmarcados (cuando se ofrezca), ediciones/obra impresa (si aplica) y ediciones digitales (si aplica).

If you are a consumer located in the EU/EEA (and where applicable the UK) and purchased online (distance contract), you generally have the right to withdraw within 14 days without giving any reason. For goods, the period starts on the day you (or someone you designate) receive the item. If you were not properly informed about this right, the period may be extended under applicable consumer law.

Si eres consumidor en la UE/EEE (y cuando aplique, Reino Unido) y compras online (contrato a distancia), por norma general tienes derecho a desistir en 14 días sin necesidad de justificar el motivo. En bienes, el plazo empieza el día en que recibes el artículo (o lo recibe una persona designada). Si no se informó correctamente de este derecho, el plazo puede ampliarse conforme a la normativa aplicable.

04 · Condition, COA & packaging

Items must be unused and in original condition. Any Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and included documents must be returned. Pack securely for transit (rigid box/tube recommended). You may be responsible for diminished value if the item is handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it.

Los artículos deben devolverse sin uso y en perfecto estado. Debe incluirse el Certificado de Autenticidad (COA) y documentación (si aplica). Embala de forma segura para el transporte (recomendado caja rígida/tubo). Podrás responder de la depreciación si se manipula más de lo necesario para su comprobación.

Return shipping and packaging costs are paid by the buyer unless the return is due to our error or confirmed transit damage/incorrect delivery. We strongly recommend tracked and insured return shipping for artworks.

Los costes de envío y embalaje de la devolución los asume el comprador, salvo error nuestro o daño en transporte/envío incorrecto confirmado por nosotros. Recomendamos devolución con seguimiento y seguro para obras.

• Customs duties, VAT/import taxes, and clearance fees are non-refundable.
• You are responsible for return customs procedures and any associated costs.
• If a shipment is refused due to unpaid duties/taxes, related costs may be deducted from the refund.

• Aranceles, IVA/impuestos de importación y tasas de gestión no son reembolsables.
• El comprador asume trámites/costes aduaneros en devoluciones.
• Si un envío se rechaza por no pagar tasas/aranceles, pueden deducirse costes del reembolso.

07 · Refunds (timing and method)

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the return. We may withhold reimbursement until the goods are received or you provide evidence of having sent them back (tracked proof), whichever is earlier. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days after inspection (bank processing times may vary).

El reembolso se realiza al mismo método de pago una vez recibida e inspeccionada la devolución. Podremos retener el reembolso hasta recibir el artículo o hasta que aportes prueba de envío (tracking), lo que ocurra antes. El procesamiento suele tardar 5–10 días laborables tras la inspección (los tiempos del banco pueden variar).

• Made-to-order framing (framing commissioned specifically for your order).
• Commissioned / personalized / made-to-order items.
• Digital editions/downloads once delivery has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement of loss of withdrawal (if offered).
• Items returned without COA (when provided), or damaged due to insufficient packaging.

• Enmarcado bajo pedido (enmarcado realizado específicamente para tu pedido).
• Artículos personalizados / por encargo / made-to-order.
• Ediciones digitales/descargas una vez iniciada la prestación con consentimiento expreso y reconocimiento de pérdida del desistimiento (si aplica).
• Artículos devueltos sin COA (si se entregó) o dañados por embalaje insuficiente.

09 · Damaged or incorrect delivery

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact hello@cukumba.com within 48 hours and include photos of: outer packaging, inner packaging, the item, and the shipping label. We will offer a replacement when possible, or a refund.

Si el artículo llega dañado o no corresponde, escribe a hello@cukumba.com dentro de 48 horas y adjunta fotos de: embalaje exterior, embalaje interior, el artículo y la etiqueta de envío. Ofreceremos reemplazo si es posible o reembolso.

Returns are sent to the address below. Returns must be pre-authorized; we will confirm instructions by email.
